Once a prime tourist mecca in the Smokies., Ogle’s Waterpark closed ten years ago and was replaced by Walden’s Landing, a popular destination for shopping in Pigeon Forge. Just outside of Knoxville, Ogle’s Water Park couldn’t quite swim against the currents made by Dolly’s Splash Country water park as well as rising real estate values, but all is well as the outlet has replaced the park with shopping, restaurants, movies and even a miniature golf course. Walden’s Landing has been well-received and promises to provide great shopping and dining on the Great Smoky Mountains Parkway.
