Tip for Shopping on Tennessee Tax Free Weekend: Prepare for Crowds

people waiting in line at a storeOne thing you can be sure to expect on Tennessee Tax Free Weekend is a crowd. Wherever you go, there are likely to be others hoping to get the same great deals as you. This means longer lines and longer wait times for fitting rooms. We recommend making a list of things you know you need, and knowing your size in any clothes you plan on buying. This will help you find what you want and purchase it faster! If you have kids with you, remember to keep a close eye on them so you don’t get separated in the busy shops.

To try to avoid some of the crowds, visit stores early. There are less likely to be big groups of people shopping right after stores open. If you visit early, you also have a better chance of getting what you’re looking for before it’s sold out!
