The cabin was wonderful and clean! Only complaint I would have is that the office said that I needed to come to the office to collect my after hours check in paperwork and keys. I stood at the office confused trying to figure it out at 3 am finally I gave up and found the address to my In my emails couldn’t find it on Apple Maps but a quick download of google maps and wahhhlaaahh I was on my way up the mountain to find that it was a deadbolt lock key pad. I I had realized that I would have went to the cabin instead of the office. Maybe it was my error on understanding. But I enjoyed it and look forward to coming back!

Our stay was great. Hot tub did not heat up, but we didn't come for that. We try to come down every year, and we'll definitely be booking with you for sure.

We loved the cabin! We only had 2 issues, there was no stopper in the smaller jacuzzi tub and the lock on the door didn't want to work 1/2 the time.

Everything was convenient from booking to location of cabin in relation to attractions we had a great time at the cabin just a few things for thought the beds are In desperate need of replacement and if you are going to have a pool tabel only 1 cue out of 4 had a tip need to have the tips on cues . .there is a place open were the squirrel,s are getting in we could hear them running up and around in the ceiling I would have that looked at the could start a fire chewing on wiring ...all in all it was a very good exsperiance it was clean and neat everything worked as it should I would like to come back next year to same cabin just needs new mattress and pillows and it would be perfect

I believe aunt bugs gave us very good service, the folks in the office can only be as good as their subcontractors who look the cabin over and take care of shortcomings in the cabin . The grounds around our cabin was littered with trash ( how can people treat nature this way ) the kitchen was not stocked with pots and pans that was adequate for cooking. We called the office and they had us come and get new ones from the office, overall the cabin was nice and we enjoyed our stay .

In August 2017 my mother and my wife’s father both passed away in the same week and my wife took the daily care of her elderly mother. This commitment still happens today. Her younger brother told her she needed a break so we decided to get some R&R in the Gatlinburg area. Our 5 day stay rejuvenated her body and mind. Aunt Bugs provided the solitude that was much needed. If you’re looking for some easy way to get away, I suggest Aunt Bugs, if they can’t satisfy your wants and needs, nobody can.

Outstanding- friendly staff never got annoyed at my tourist questions - lol. LOVED the cabin - clean - well maintained property - family very excited to view calm momma bear with her three cubs taking a sniff around front porch, then off they went. Amazing beauty and nature!. My cabin was pet friendly yet was very clean with no signs of prior bets before our beagle. We will stay again - I have already began networking and referring this relaxing place for either family outing, or romantic getaway.... Thank you from The Anderson Family - Hendersonville, TN

Lovely cabin; clean; fresh linens; great outdoor jacuzzi; felt remote, while also near others; lovely great room. Was definitely great for our family of 4. I have some suggestions for items that would enhance the cabin: 1) add cork board to post wifi info and emergency numbers, and how to work gas fireplace (didn't work when we tried turning the timer dial); 2) add night lights to each bedrm and bathroom; 3) adding a folding luggage rack or 2 to each bedrm. would be good, to not have to put your suitcase on the floor; 4) in the 2nd bathrm (not master), add a stand similar to the one in the master bath, as there is no place to place toiletry kit; 5) add mixing bowls and glass baking dishes; 6) include 2 flashlights w/extra batteries in kitchen drawer, along with notepad and pens; 7) add a shower/bathmat (aka floor towel) for bathrms; 8) add vegetable peeler; and 9) add comforters...it was cold and the blankets (while lovely) were too thin! But seriously, overall, it was a lovely cabin stay and we would definitely recommend! Cheers!

-How is the drive to this cabin?
The drive to this cabin is steep and windy in areas . No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.
-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?
This cabin is 6.2 mile from the parkway of Pigeon Forge.
-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?
We recommend bringing no more than 2 vehicles, of any size.
-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?
YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. In this cabin, we also provide 8 towels and 2 wash clothes, 8 hand towels and dishwasher detergent. We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).
-Is this cabin dog friendly?
Yes… But there is a $75.00 charge per pet per stay and we limit it to 2 dogs under 40 lbs.
-Can I use the fireplace year round?
No. Local fire codes restrict the use of fireplaces April through September and we take this very seriously.
-Will I encounter wildlife?
Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If you want to go outside and there is a bear outside, make loud noises they will leave. If you pull up to your cabin and there is a bear in the yard, blow the horn. They will leave.
And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for small animals to be heard around the house or bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature. Just call us, and we will send up wildlife management people or pest control to get rid of any small animals or bugs for you.

-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?
Absolutely. Every hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled between stays. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.
