What people are saying about this property
It was easy to book and easy to add on extra nights when we wanted them!
The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We did find a live scorpion in one of the bathrooms, which was a little startling. I don’t know if there’s anything that could have prevented it since it’s a cabin on the mountain. Other than that, our stay was nearly perfect.
We had a fantastic stay in Bearview Heights! The cabin is beautiful and roomy with gorgeous views!
Easy to work with. Great cabin. Overall good experience. We needed more garbage bags.
Everything was great! The cabin had everything we needed and everything was in working condition. The cabin was a little dusty but nothing some Clorox wiped couldn’t fix!
Great experience except for early check-in issue after straight 12 hr travel
The cabin was awesome, pictures didn’t do it Justice. I’m lucky we were able to rent it
Everything was wonderful! Check in and check out couldn't have been easier!
Overall, we loved the cabin. There was a miscommunication between owner and the rental company, but the owner was very nice. They made sure we had the cabin.
We were extremely satisfied It was better than expected We will use Aunt bugs again
Cabin was exactly as described in description. Amazing Mountain View from decks.
The cabin was beautiful! The Christmas decorations really made it feel like home. The cabin was spectacular when we arrived. The view is breath taking and we loved drinking coffee and swinging on the swing. The kids loved the games and the downstairs. The only little complaint we had was, the mattresses on the beds. They could be a little more homey and not so firm, but not enough to take a star away! Thank you!
Check in and check out we're super easy and the cabin was great!
Check in and out very easy. Beautiful cabin- exactly as advertised
We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay in the exact cabin again! Perfectly located, very home like feel for the kids and everyone was able to rest comfortably feeling safe inside! A great place to stay and extremely friendly staff ready and willing to help with anything. Truly a relaxing, fun and exciting trip into the mountains and such a beautiful cabin.
Cabin was amazing and very clean. Will definitely return soon with more family,
House was clean, big like described and secluded like it said.
Great place! The cabin is very spacious and has a fantastic Mountain View! There were animal visitors that walked on the porch, raccoon and bear!
The Cabin was perfect. Everything about it was amazing. The only small detail that we noticed was that the dishwasher isn't the strongest and you really have to wash the dishes before putting them in, or just simply handwash them.
Our cabin was very nice, we had a couple bear encounters, one of which was a cub looking in our door window, gave us a little scare but gave the kids a memory they will never forget! I really can’t think of any issues we had with our stay beside internet going out a lot, it was a great trip and I’m sure we will continue using Aunt bugs!
Y’all did an outstanding job. All the way around. Awesome.
-How is the drive to this cabin?
The drive to this cabin is windy but very little incline . No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.
-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?
This cabin is 12 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge .
-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?
We recommend bringing no more than 2 vehicles, of any size.
-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?
YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. In this cabin, we also provide 12 towels and 12 wash clothes, 3 hand towels and dishwasher detergent. We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).
-Is this cabin dog friendly?
Yes… But there is a $75.00 charge per pet per stay and we limit it to 2 dogs under 40 lbs.
-Can I use the fireplace year round?
No. Local fire codes restrict the use of fireplaces April through September and we take this very seriously.
-Will I encounter wildlife?
Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If you want to go outside and there is a bear outside, make loud noises they will leave. If you pull up to your cabin and there is a bear in the yard, blow the horn. They will leave.
And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for small animals to be heard around the house or bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature. Just call us, and we will send up wildlife management people or pest control to get rid of any small animals or bugs for you.
-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?
Absolutely. Every hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled between stays. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.
The Vacation Guarantee is 7% of your total reservation and enables you to receive a full refund, less the cost of the guarantee, up to 30 days prior to your arrival for a 1 to 4 bedroom cabin, and up to 60 days prior to arrival for 5 bedrooms and larger. Once inside those time periods, the Vacation Guarantee would allow you to reschedule your stay. Though the Vacation Guarantee is an optional charge, Aunt Bugs has a no refund/no reschedule policy without it.
*Rescheduled stays will have 6 months to come and must stay in the original cabin booked.
We loved our stay! The cabin was very well equipped with everything we needed and was very clean. We would highly recommend the cabin and hope to be able to return. Thank you Aunt Bugs!
