Located approximately 1 mile from the main parkway in Pigeon Forge, and conveniently close to Dollywood & Splash Country, it is approximately 5 minutes from Pigeon Forge and 15 minutes from Gatlinburg. This cabin has paved roads all the way to the property. There are some slight curves, but this unit would be considered motorcycle friendly at the riders' discretion. There is comfortable parking available for up to 2 vehicles.
This 1 Bedroom,1 Bath cabin that sleeps up to 4 is all 1 level. There are 10 steps to reach the main level of the property. You will find a fully equipped kitchen with an island style dining table with seating for 2, a living area with a Queen sleeper sofa, 2 chairs, a stone gas fireplace, and flat screen TV. There is also a King bedroom with a flat screen TV, with a private bath with a large jetted tub / Shower combo. There is also a stackable washer & dryer, as well as a wine cooler.

We even had plenty of wildlife (geese and ducks and rabbits) to entertain us! Did not want to leave and we are already planning our return. To add: Lelhla (sorry if misspelled) made our cabin beautiful prior to our arrival! We have told all our family and friends about our stay.

Had an issue with the door lock to the cabin but they fixed it in a decent amount of time.
Love the ease of check in and the cabin was great, I would have liked to know address much earlier. This would have given me more opportunity to map my route. The reception of GPS is not the best in mountains. I would have preferred not to rely on it.

Cabin was brand new so very nice.. Plenty of supplies for our short 3 night stay. Please clean or put chemicals in the hot tub. It was usable but needs a good cleaning. Cabin itself was spotless. Off the beaten path, quiet dead end street. I hate that it’s difficult to determine exactly where a cabin is located until just prior to checkin but I understand most rental agencies do just that. Thank you.

Location of cabin was very good close to all major attractions
Everything was great and we had a relaxing stay in the cabin. Please review the directions to Cabin, River Romance where it says to turn right onto Henderson Rd off Henderson Chapel Rd. It specifies to make a right turn in 1.3 miles, when actually the right turn is about 200 ft after you turn off 441 onto Henderson Chapel Rd. We actually disregarded this turn thinking that we had to travel at least 1.3 miles; hence we made a right turn on Henderson Rd further down, turning away from the cabin. This is one time that our GPS saved us and immediately pointed us in the right direction to the cabin. It was then that we realized the discrepancy. Other than that, the accommodations were perfect. Thanks for the hospitality.

Cabin was new and very clean. Was perfect for our anniversary weekend. It was well stocked with everything we needed. We loved the robes & fire pit. Only downfall was our hot tub was not working correctly and they did not get it fixed during our stay which was disappointing as that is one of our favorite parts of staying in a cabin. But overall it was a beautiful cabin and easy to get to.
New unit and very continent. Only thing I would change is the sofa in the living room. It was not a comfortable sofa to curl up with the wife and enjoy the nice fireplace while watching tv.
The cabin was very clean and we loved the furnishings and decor. The overall look and feel of the cabin was charming and we were all really impressed.Unlike most cabins, this one was updated and had nice bed linens and up to date technology (including a security system). We appreciated the little things like the robes on the bed and the special folding of the towels. Those details made it feel like a high-end hotel. It was the perfect size for our small family of three. We also appreciated the clear communication we received from booking until check-out.

The cabin was beautiful from the inside out. I love the river scenery, it was very different. My wife and I did not want to leave because it felt like home lol! Definitely would love to come back for this cabin in particular to get away.

-How is the drive to this cabin?
The drive to this cabin is steep and windy in some places.. No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.
-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?
This cabin is 4 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge .
-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?
We recommend bringing no more than 1 vehicles, of any size.
-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?
YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. In this cabin, we also provide 6 towels and 4 wash clothes, 1 hand towels and dishwasher detergent. We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).
-Is this cabin dog friendly?
Yes, but we charge $75.00 per pet per stay and we limit it to 2 dogs under 40 lbs.-Can I use the fireplace year round?
No. Local fire codes restrict the use of fireplaces April through September and we take this very seriously.
-Will I encounter wildlife?
Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If you want to go outside and there is a bear outside, make loud noises they will leave. If you pull up to your cabin and there is a bear in the yard, blow the horn. They will leave.
And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for small animals to be heard around the house or bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature. Just call us, and we will send up wildlife management people or pest control to get rid of any small animals or bugs for you.
-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?
Absolutely. Every hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled between stays. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.
The Vacation Guarantee is 7% of your total reservation and enables you to receive a full refund, less the cost of the guarantee, up to 30 days prior to your arrival for a 1 to 4 bedroom cabin, and up to 60 days prior to arrival for 5 bedrooms and larger. Once inside those time periods, the Vacation Guarantee would allow you to reschedule your stay. Though the Vacation Guarantee is an optional charge, Aunt Bugs has a no refund/no reschedule policy without it.
*Rescheduled stays will have 6 months to come and must stay in the original cabin booked.
