What people are saying about this property
Everything was good. The only problem we experienced was the smell of the water. We loved Everything else
The cabin was beautiful. We enjoyed it very much! Aunt bugs kept in touch the whole time via text and email. Quick to respond. The only thing we did not like was the bed, it was very squeaky and uncomfortable. The last day, noticed black ants trying to make their way in(to be expected we was out in the woods) but overall we loved it and will come back ! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cabin for our vacation😁
My Experience was “Awesome”! U did well, I’ve No complaints….
We loved the ca in like always . Thanks Will be back soon to try another one
Had a great stay . Room was clean just need better pool sticks lol
The communication was excellent before and during the stay. We were very pleased with the response time the two times we called with questions. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The bed was a bit noisy and would wake us up in the middle of the night when one of us had to get up. There were plenty of warnings about bears and we were excited to see a momma bear and two cubs down the hill around the corner from the cabin.
We had a problem with the water, it was corrected right away.
we really enjoyed Aunt Bug's. the stay was very relaxing. They responded quickly when we needed something
Aunt Bugs customer service was excellent! Heather was AMAZING with answering all of our questions and Holly was very quick with our last minute decision to check in early! We had the perfect weekend getaway. Our cabin was beautiful and offered an amazing view!
Check in and out was easy. Made us feel welcome by texting and and letting us know that they were there to help if we needed anything. Only problem I had was the hot tub could have been cleaner
We enjoyed our stay because everything was sent to our cell phones. We had no worries.
Very clean and secluded cabin! The views were awesome!! Loved the back porch and hot tub!! There were even black berries by the fire pit!!!
The cabin was cozy and felt like home. Loved the full kitchen.
Was my first time staying in a cabin and was very pleased. Will be planning on coming back soon!
It was a great stay. The cabin was very cozy and secluded and had great amenities. The bed could use a new mattress. I would definitely stay there again.
The man on the phone was very helpful when I booked our cabin. When we arrived at the cabin everything was very clean. We reallly enjoyed our stay. The only suggestion I have is to leave some sheets available for the pull out couch/air mattress. Thank you.
This is the 2nd time we have vacationed at one if your cabins. Both times we have been very pleased. Cabins are well maintained and clean. Thank you for making our vacation very enjoyable and relaxing
Private, cozy, just perfect ! Already talking about coming back next year.
It was a nice cabin. Secluded and private. Everything worked fine. Good experience
Everything was clean and we were happy with how close to the parkway it was. The drive to the cabin was easy and well marked (and paved). The cabin felt private while also being close to everything. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub was relaxing. We will be back.
Absolutely great will be back when prices are similar to recent visit.
Everything was great, we did encounter some ants in the cabin, but I know that is hard to control since we are in the woods. Would have been nice to have some BBQ utensils also. Thats about it, overall it was fantastic!
I was very pleased with our stay, it was cozy, clean and romantic.
This cabin was perfect. Away from hustle and bustle but close enough to shop or see shows! Perfect size for couple.
Staff was very friendly. The cabin was very nice, clean and accommodating for two people. The only thing I felt there should have been more instructions on how to set the alarm for the cabin. It was sort of guessing game on setting it when going out.
We loved the cabin. It had just the right amount of privacy, while still being close to places to eat and shop. It was very clean and comfortable and a great price! Next visit we will be looking for this cabin again!
Very nice cabin for 2 people nice location and quiet. Well be staying again. Just not sure the pool table is needed. Roads to the cabin are very easily accessible
The cabin was beautiful but house keeping missed trash under bed lint in dryer was really thick and a beer can was behind washer the floor had some debris on it but we still enjoyed the stay
We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was exactly as described on the website. No major issues to report, but the reason that we couldn't give a 5 star rating was due to a lack of general maintenance and overall cleanliness. Let me start by saying that I am a maintenance technician and HVAC technician by trade. Three of three major amenities of this particular cabin had issues. The gas fireplace wasn't set up properly to run, the tank main was shut off and there was a small gas leak on the outlet side of the gas valve(all of this was repaired by myself so that we could utilize the fireplace on our stay) . Someone who was not trained on the type of fireplace would've never been able to get it running, and I think that's a failure of the management to provide proper instructions. The 2nd issue was the pool table. Obviously you don't expect to have a championship regulation 1200lb laser leveled pool table for the price point per night on this cabin, but the table was very wobbly, and even by eyesight, clearly not level. Took about 30 mins to level and tighten a few screws, just to make it playable. But this issue was also fixed by myself so should be ok for next few months for anyone else staying here. Lastly, the hot tub has two jets which do not work. I was unable and unwilling to mess with that at all and since the majority of the jets worked, it wasn't a major issue, but worth reporting. A few reviews I've read on the cabin before we purchased our stay said the same thing, so this goes back to a lack of maintenance also bc it was reported before. All in all our stay was exceptional. These were minor nuances to me and my family. I would encourage the management to beef up general maintenance practices to improve quality of life of the vacationers and the longevity of the equipment! PS: we did not have an issue with the AC, but the note in the welcome packet that says if unit is ran below a certain temp it will freeze up is not entirely accurate. If a a.c unit freezes, it is not because of too low of a setpoint on thermostat, it's either an airflow issue or the unit is low on refrigerant and has a refrigerant leak. Should probably consult a certified HVAC technician in the area because that refrigerant type is phasing out Jan 1st 2020 and it will be very expensive after the first of the coming year! Thank you again for your hospitality! We will stay in another cabin of yours again soon, just probably not this exact one.
The cabin was very clean and close to everything in pigeon forge. The hot tub was cold when we arrived. Management sent someone right away and by the end of the day, a heating element was replaced and hot . There were only 3 wine glasses to use and no regular drinking glasses. Because of having our 6 y.o. Daughter with us, we bought solo cups from the store. Other than that, the cabin was perfect for us and was exactly as described.
Quiet! Cozy! Clean! An overall great getaway! Would stay again!
People were very friendly. Only complaints are the broken glass table (we had children with us and were worried about them with it) and also the pullout couch was not functioning properly. I also would have preferred if the bugs were swept up before we arrived but there was a broom available to do so. Overall it was nice.
This really was the best cabin we have ever stayed in. We visit every year and you all far exceeded our expectations! Thank you so much! We will definitely stay here again.
This was our first visit to Aunt Bug's cabins in the Smoky Mountains. The Dream Maker cabin is so much more than it appears in the pictures. Looking small from the outside but open, spacious and cozy at the same time on the inside. It was easily accessible and had a decent driveway, unlike so many that I saw that were almost straight up. The bed was comfy, all the comforts of home. A perfect retreat for our 24th anniversary.
Amazing location and nice cabin. We loved staying at Aunt Bug's
Enjoyed the cabin. It was clean and well maintained. Check in and check out was quick and easy.
We loved our stay. It was beautiful. Great couple's retreat
It was great except when we asked for a later check out due to the weather and us being on a motorcycle my husband was told no.
Definitely plan on going with Aunt Bug on our next vacation and asking for Dream Maker again! Excellent!
Great time, cute, nice, clean cabin. Wish hot tub worked.
The cabin was very clean and the staff very friendly! We were there for our 20th anniversary and our stay was delightful! We will be back again!
We loved it it was nice, cabin was clean the kitchen could use a little more lighting and Dream Maker 120 but otherwise it was really pretty good. Thanks.
Loved it definately was the best cabin for a couple to have on a weekend stay in the smokies will definately consider it or another one of aunt bugs cabins for a vacation next year.
I loved the location of our cabin!! It was easy to find and close enough to town but far enough away! The only thing we wanted was to stay longer.
Excellent service. Friendly people. Pleasure to stay with. Nice cabin.
Nice place. Good customer service at check in.... Will look forward to our trip back next year....
Our stay was very good. The cabin was very nice. The only complaint was the sofa. It was not very comfortable for any extended time watching TV. All the e-mail communications, contracts and visits to the office seem to make a simple process overly complicated. Your staff was very friendly and helpful. We would consider Aunt Bug's for any future visit to the Pigeon Forge.
We really enjoyed our stay our cabin had a nice view and cabin was very clean and roomy. We will come back next year for sure.
We were married in the Smoky Mountains on Oct 18th, and chose Dream Maker #120 for our honeymoon cabin!! It is secluded and has a fire pit to shoot around. We had issues with the jacuzzi not working, and two very friendly handymend were there promptly. They had it fixed in no time! Jeannie and the rest of the staff at the office were very informative and friendly! We would definitely recommend Aunt Bug's and Dream Maker #120!!!
Friendly service at check in . Good directions to cabin . Cabin was all we expected. Clean and quiet .
It was amazing, the cabin was very very clean, and very well decorated. The place was very nice.
The place was clean, it looked a lot bigger in the photos, I had hoped for a better view.
Super nice staff.Booking, check in and check out was all easy.
The Cabin was nice a little dirty, enjoyed our time there, the location was close to everything we wanted to see, nice time thanks.
everything was neat and clean and in working order. I have no complaints about where we stayed. We had a nice romantic getaway at dream maker #120. Nice and quiet and very secluded.
Great. We will definitely come back. PERFECT HONEYMOON. Sad we had to go
It was a great time over all good time would recommend
Loved the cabin - loved the seclusion - loved the lady at the front desk! We'll definitely come back!
Had an amazing time staying in Dream Maker (#120). Planning to be back in the future.
The cabin far exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect.
Good friendly service, loved the cabin, great place to stay!!
Just a few minor issues that we had at the cabin. First is the carpet in the bedroom had staples sticking up and it would hurt when stepping on them barefoot. Also not for sure if this can be changed but there was a sound every so often i believe from the alarm system but was kind of annoying. This cabin was easy to get to and overall was a good experience.
Very helpful with our issues. Nice cabin and quiet. Close to the attractions.
great, had an upgrade due to fact that hot tub wasn't working in original cabin and was taken care of nicely ! nice cabin.I already told someone about these cabins even before we came and they come up in aug of 2015
Loved the cabin except the alarm would beep every once in awhile but overall it was great.
Jennifer,
Thank you for staying with us! We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay at "Dream Maker"! It sounds like the battery in the smoke detector needed to be changed. I am sorry for that inconvenience! Thank you for sharing feedback with us. We appreciate you, and look forward to your next stay with us!
One recommendation would be to provide a reference binder so guests can figure things out (ex. TV) Thanks
You all were so friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much for everything!
Was a very nice stay and everything was well handled. The only issue was shortage of hot water but not a deal breaker.
-How is the drive to this cabin?
The drive to this cabin is steep and windy in places . No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.
-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?
This cabin is 4.1 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge.
-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?
We recommend bringing no more than 2 vehicles, of any size.
-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?
YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. In this cabin, we also provide 6 towels and 4 wash clothes, 1 hand towels and dishwasher detergent. We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).
-Is this cabin dog friendly?
NO… And we charge $500 when evidence of a dog/animal is found inside the unit.
-Can I use the fireplace year round?
No. Local fire codes restrict the use of fireplaces April through September and we take this very seriously.
-Will I encounter wildlife?
Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If you want to go outside and there is a bear outside, make loud noises they will leave. If you pull up to your cabin and there is a bear in the yard, blow the horn. They will leave.
And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for small animals to be heard around the house or bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature. Just call us, and we will send up wildlife management people or pest control to get rid of any small animals or bugs for you.
-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?
Absolutely. Every hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled between stays. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.
The Vacation Guarantee is 7% of your total reservation and enables you to receive a full refund, less the cost of the guarantee, up to 30 days prior to your arrival for a 1 to 4 bedroom cabin, and up to 60 days prior to arrival for 5 bedrooms and larger. Once inside those time periods, the Vacation Guarantee would allow you to reschedule your stay. Though the Vacation Guarantee is an optional charge, Aunt Bugs has a no refund/no reschedule policy without it.
*Rescheduled stays will have 6 months to come and must stay in the original cabin booked.
Cabin was dark in the kitchen, needs better lighting, I was confused by laundry soap in the kitchen, no dishwasher tabs or soap, really cute place very clean and happy no spiders inside
