the only Issue I had is when I asked the location of the cabin whomever I spoke with told me it was only 15 minutes from pigeon forge. Well it was 45 minutes. The only reason it was a bit bothersome is for planning purposes. Other than that the agency was very good and kept us in the loop and helped with any questions we had while there.

Absolutely beautiful 3 sided view, very clean and updated cabin, good WiFi and streaming tv, would like more thoroughly equipped kitchen. Needed cookie sheet, pot holders, measuring spoons, more storage bowls. Great stay overall.

This is my second stay with an Aunt Bug's Cabin and as I expected it was great. The cabin was beautiful and location was secluded. We also had a bear stroll past the cabin while we were enjoying the main level porch. The cabin was very nice. Our only issue was the hot tub wouldn't get hot, but everything else was excellent.

Check in and out were super easy; and the house was as beautiful as advertised (and clean). Didn’t get 5 stars because of little things (lack of cooking tools/mixing bowls, no wine glasses, door shelves in fridge broken, toaster broken, ice maker didn’t work, garbage in the cans, etc... minor issues). Overall I would stay again

What an incredible vacation!! We LOVED our stay. The cabin had everything we needed and more! We spent most of our time just sitting on the beautiful deck, soaking in the view. I only have a few constructive comments: 1. There was a mouse. A mousetrap would have been nice. 2. there were a ton of cobwebs on the ceilings. 3. the hot tub started to smell by the end of our trip. We always went in with clean suits, never brought in food/drinks, and put the cover back on right away. Not sure if the smell is avoidable or not. 4. We were not fully aware of how incredibly steep the driveway is. I'm not sure if that information is provided in the description of the cabin- if it is, we missed it. Luckily, we came in the summer and didn't need to worry about getting up the driveway (barely), but there's no way we would have made it up in the winter with the car we were driving.

That being said, I would HIGHLY recommend this cabin to friends and family. We were so grateful for the accommodations. And everyone was SO friendly and helpful!

We spent time at the pool, went to Gatlinburg, hiked at Laurel Falls, went to Cade's Cove, and took a million pictures of the mountains. It was amazing.

The house was as stated and we really enjoyed it. The views really are fantastic. My comments below are intended to be helpful, not mean spirited. 1.When we arrived the keyless lock code we were given didn’t work. We called the office and we were given the correct code - really, it’s wasn’t a big deal but want you to know. 2. The decks need to be cleaned. 3. Dishes are outdated and cracked 4. Our daughter saw a mouse downstairs and it freaked her out which was kind of funny but you might want to call an exterminator.

By far the best view we have had. Cabin was nice and clean. The driveway was steep, so it was nice that there was a small area to park and turn the car around at the cabin.

The rental company was great. Quick responses and very easy to deal with. The house was beautiful. The general housekeeping was good however the house could definitely use some deep cleaning and could be better stocked. For example, the cookware and the grill have seen better days, the grill was absolutely caked with grease and grime. And there wasn't a single spatula in the entire house. We ended up buying one and leaving it behind for future guests. All in all it was a nice experience and we would definitely stay there again.

The cabin was amazing! It was clean and spacious with nice furnishings. And beautiful views. The beds were comfy. Kids loved the huge bunk beds, pool table, and video games. Thank you for a well kept place and great overall experience. Only complaint is that a kitchen chair was broken (found it in the closet), making for a tight squeeze around the table for meals without all the chairs.

-How is the drive to this cabin?
The drive to this cabin is steep and windy in places . No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.
-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?
This cabin is 3.2 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge.
-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?
We recommend bringing no more than 3 vehicles, of any size.
-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?
YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. In this cabin, we also provide 16 towels and 12 wash clothes, 4 hand towels and dishwasher detergent. We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).
-Is this cabin dog friendly?
NO… And we charge $500 when evidence of a dog/animal is found inside the unit.
-Can I use the fireplace year round?
No. Local fire codes restrict the use of fireplaces April through September and we take this very seriously.
-Will I encounter wildlife?
Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If you want to go outside and there is a bear outside, make loud noises they will leave. If you pull up to your cabin and there is a bear in the yard, blow the horn. They will leave.
And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for small animals to be heard around the house or bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature. Just call us, and we will send up wildlife management people or pest control to get rid of any small animals or bugs for you.

-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?
Absolutely. Every hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled between stays. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.
