Swimming Holes

If you and your family are looking for a relaxing afternoon, away from the attractions and crowds, you can visit one of the swimming holes in the Great Smoky Mountains! One of the most popular swimming holes is Metcalf Bottoms. There is a picnic area and access to the Little Greenbrier River. The water holes in the area are shallow, but they are perfect for relaxing in a tube and hanging out on the water. Another popular area is the Greenbrier area in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Greenbrier area is great for tubers and swimmers to play!
