After it rains, Roaring Fork becomes one of the most beautiful areas of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The six-mile long loop road showcases mountain streams and beautiful trees. Along the way, visitors will be able to see log cabins, mills and historic buildings.

To reach Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, take traffic light #8 from the Parkway in Gatlinburg and follow Historic Nature Trail Road. There will be signs that point visitors in the direction of the trail. The motor nature trail can be found near the Rainbow Falls parking lot.
