How to See the Pigeon Forge Lights Without Driving Around Town

Christmas lights around a white houseFamilies stay in Pigeon Forge cabins to experience the beauty of the Smoky Mountains as well as the excitement of the Pigeon Forge area. Being only minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway, families enjoy spending time wandering through the lights with fresh cups of hot chocolate. This season, when you’re dressed warmly from head to toe, don’t spend your time walking the Parkway. We’ve got a better way for you to experience the lights!

If you’re looking to see all 5 million holiday lights that can be found throughout Pigeon Forge, there’s only one way that will save you time and energy: take a ride on the Pigeon Forge trolley for their annual Trolley Tour of Lights!

Following the Pigeon Forge Winterfest kickoff, the Pigeon Forge trolley station begins their nightly departures for the Tour of Lights. Through November and December, to be a part of the tour, families should meet at Patriot Park for the 6:30, 7:45 or 9p.m. departure time. In January, the tours will only occur on Mondays and Fridays.

When you step into the Pigeon Forge trolley, you will notice that it’s heated to keep you warm and toasty throughout the entire ride. The trolley will take your family on a guided tour throughout Pigeon Forge, where you can learn about special light displays and key places in the town.

Tickets can be purchased at the Pigeon Forge trolley station on the evening of the tour. Tickets are only $5 per person, so it’s a great deal for the entire family!
