How to Stay Warm this Winter

White mug on the windowsill with snow outsideWhat warms you up? Cooler weather is fast approaching the Smokies, so if you’re planning to enjoy chestnuts roasting on an open fire, everyone at Aunt Bug’s Cabin Rentals has been thinking of ways to enjoy the view and beat the cold this winter. We’ve come up with a list of things to warm you up and save you money in one of our Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg cabins with a fireplace.

Warm Drinks

What’s your drink of choice? Some enjoy hot tea. Others prefer hot chocolate filled to the brim with marshmallows. Coffee is another important part of any winter day. No matter cold weather drink you enjoy, these delicious treats will warm guests from the inside out.

Outdoor Activity

Guests who decide to brave the outdoors to take on skiing and snowboarding can warm up by getting their adrenaline pumping on the slopes. Others enjoy scenic drives around the Smoky Mountains National Park or a hike through the trails that are open through winter. Once they decide to come in for the evening, Gatlinburg cabins with a fireplace are a welcome escape.

Yummy Meals

Our cabins have fully furnished kitchens, so you’ll have everything you need to whip up a warm meal. Soups and sandwiches are quick and filling for chilly nights. A guest favorite is curling up in front the fireplace with a big bowl of steaming soup and talking the night away.

Toasty Fireplace

Our favorite place to sit during the winter is in front of one of our fireplaces. Absolutely Wonderful is one of our 3 bedroom cabins. The views framing the fireplace in the living area are spectacular. Fireplaces are in most of our rentals, but all of our cabins have amenities to enjoy anytime of year.
