Car Shows in Pigeon Forge
Fall is the time for some of the most popular car shows in Pigeon Forge! Each September, car-lovers come to the area to experience the Shades of the Past car show at Dollywood’s Splash Country. At this fall event, more than 200 hot rods compete for grand prices. Also during September is the famous Fall Rod Run, which is an incredible 3-day event featuring a huge swap meet with hundreds of show cars, awards and so much more. During these events, you can expect to see hot rods and classic cars filling the Parkway in Pigeon Forge. Another car show you’ll have the opportunity to see in the fall is the Great Smoky Mountain Auto Fest, which includes autocross, a swap meet, 50/50 giveaways and more.
Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair
The fall Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair takes place every October. Top artisans from across the country are able to showcase their talents not only through their crafts but through demonstrations as well! More than 200 artists attend this annual fall event in Gatlinburg. In fact, it’s been recognized as one of the top 20 events in the Southern U.S. but the Southeast Tourism Society.
Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival
What better way to kick off the fall season that the Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival? This is a 12-week celebration of the fall season in the Smoky Mountains. Downtown Gatlinburg will be transformed into a fall wonderland, complete with pumpkins, life-size scarecrows and other seasonal decorations. You’ll also have the opportunity to see the gorgeous fall foliage from attractions like the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park, Gatlinburg Space Needle and Ober Gatlinburg.
Winterfest
While fall may seem a little early to start celebrating the holidays, it’s not too early to see Christmas lights in the Smoky Mountains! In mid-November, the Smoky Mountain area will transform into a winter wonderland. The Parkways in Gatlinburg, Sevierville and Pigeon Forge will be decorated in millions of twinkling lights and Christmas decor. It’s never too soon to get into the Christmas spirit!
