FireChaser Express

Everyone has heard of the FireChaser Express. As the first dual launch, family style roller coaster at the Pigeon Forge attraction, the FireChaser Express is guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser. Saluting all firefighting heroes, this ride will take guests from ‘zero to hero’ (or zero to 20 miles per hour in 2 seconds). At 12 stories high, the ride lasts a little over 2 minutes and sends families on the ride of a lifetime. Since kids only have to be 39” tall to ride, everyone can enjoy the ride together.

Showstreet Changes

One of the most impressive changes at Dollywood for this season is their new entryway. The Dollywood logo and butterfly emblem are the focal point of the entryway. It is expected that millions of visitors will take photos with the new entryway, because it’s a perfect spot for families to stand and have a photo taken.

Also along Showstreet, guests will be welcomed with bright lights shining upon the Showstreet Palace Theater. There are also a variety of concession stands that have been completely remodeled to make the visitor experience even better.

New Dippin’ Dots Flavor

Now, when you visit Dollywood, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind experience . . . even when you visit a Dippin’ Dots stand! To commemorate the new roller coaster, Dippin’ Dots created a special flavor just for Dollywood! Called the FireChaser Cherrybomb Ice. The new sweet treat will be popular for kids, with a sour fruit flavor paired with tasty popping candy.

Dippin’ Dots has also set up a new stand named the Tennessee Tornado Sundae Shop. At the shop, guests can purchase sweet treats like shakes, sundaes and floats . . . all Dippin’ Dots style!
