The cabin was great! Loved the layout! Getting in out of driveway at the road was very trying and safety was my concern. Having to stop backup to finish making turn. The property is there the driveway especially at the bottom could be fixed to make a better turn into cabin or turn out on the road..

Overall beautiful view. Only thing I wish was someone would have told me on the phone before booking how bad the driveway was.

Booked on a whim last minute. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Couldn't check in until 5:30 p.m., but not a big deal for us since we didn't arrive in Sevierville until 4:45/5ish. Cabin was okay. A little outdated but did the job for a two night stay. The shower liner in the hallway bathroom was mildewed. Not really an issue for just the two of us because we used the master bath. The driveway is steep! We didn't have any issues with our medium sized SUV in 4wheel drive, but it was nice sunny weather. Rain/snow/ice- driveway would be impassable. We would have chosen a different cabin, but we decided last minute to make a trip to the Smokies and there were limited pet & budget friendly cabin options.

Staff were very friendly when I spoke with them. Check in and out was very easy without any incidents. The cabin was very clean, it could use some updating inside: newer cabinets, counters and mattresses. Suggestions: having chairs to sit in outside to appreciate the outdoors while hanging out with our companions would have been great, rocking chairs on the porch. Adding a seating area out front where the blocked pavement is.

The cabin was very nice and staff were friendly. The only complaint was the driveway up to the cabin was nearly impossible to make by a front wheel drive car (Toyota Avalon). We were traveling with older family members and were recommended this single-story cabin by the front office.

Wonderful! The cabin was exactly as described. We had a wonderful vacation. The location was perfect for activities in both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin was clean and well appointed - I was pleasantly surprised to find that all of the appliances were VERY clean inside and out. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Couldn't have asked for better. The staff was pleasant and responsive each time we called. No complaints, would definitely recommend Aunt Bug's!

We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had was the steep driveway. I had difficulty getting our van up but my son was able to. The wheels had issue spinning where the gravel was on the concrete. I would suggest mentioning the driveway in the add. The TV in the large bedroom has issues. No cable, only DVD. The sound and picture was bad. Other than that it was great. We even had a bear come to the cabin. It was very exciting.

We happened to be staying in Magnolia Bearidise during one of the 2021 winter storms. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. All we had to buy was food and laundry detergent. Being from the gulf coast, I have very little experience with winter storms, so I was comforted knowing that even if the power were to go out, we would still have heat from the gas fireplace. Aunt Bug’s called me the day before the storm was to arrive to see if I needed anything and to suggest that I don’t try to leave the cabin the next day due to icy roads. Considering the very steep driveway to Magnolia Bearidise, I agreed that it was not a good idea to leave the cabin. After the call, I did stop by the co-op in Sevierville to get a bag of ice melt just in case. Despite the winter storm, we had a great time. I would recommend this cabin to others. Just make sure you have a four-wheel-drive!

-How is the drive to this cabin?
The drive to this cabin is steep and windy in areas . No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.
-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?
This cabin is 4.2 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge .
-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?
We recommend bringing no more than 3 vehicles, of any size.
-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?
YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. In this cabin, we also provide 12 towels and 8 wash clothes, 2 hand towels and dishwasher detergent. We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).
-Is this cabin dog friendly?
Yes… But there is a $75.00 charge per pet per stay and we limit it to 2 dogs under 40 lbs.
-Can I use the fireplace year round?
No. Local fire codes restrict the use of fireplaces April through September and we take this very seriously.
-Will I encounter wildlife?
Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If you want to go outside and there is a bear outside, make loud noises they will leave. If you pull up to your cabin and there is a bear in the yard, blow the horn. They will leave.
And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for small animals to be heard around the house or bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature. Just call us, and we will send up wildlife management people or pest control to get rid of any small animals or bugs for you.

-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?
Absolutely. Every hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled between stays. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.
