What people are saying about this property
Great stay. Cabin was wonderful and great communication from staff. Couldn’t be happier
Cabin was very nice and would recommend others to stay there as well. Did see 1 cockroach and got rid of that. Other than that the place was spotless.
Nice cabin located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Offers a nice bit of privacy, game room and nice amenities. The hot tub wasn’t working when we checked in , they sent someone to fix it very quickly. Other than a delayed check-in everything was very nice. Would recommend this cabin.
We LOVED it. There was a few dead bugs and an empty Dr Pepper bottle when we got there but over all it was great and we had such a great time. Even seen a bear! We’ll be back!!!
Great! We loved the cabin! We spent our anniversary there.
My boyfriend and I took our first vacation to Tennessee and we loved it. The cabin was clean, cozy, and far enough away from traffic areas that we could enjoy our time in quiet. We will definitely be making this a frequent trip and look forward to staying in another cabin with aunt bug’s rentals.
Cozy, clean cabin. Just what we needed for a short getaway.
Great as always. The cabin was clean, quiet. And fairly secluded. We had a wonderful time. We look very much forward to staying again in a few months. The staff was responsive and helpful. The check in/out procedure made it very simple. Thank you!
overall a great experience. There were a few minor concerns. I was very pleased to get the welcome note when we got to the cabin. A little confused as it appears the note is on an envelope that is used multiple times. Kind of took the importance of the gesture away. There are a few cob webs in the ceiling rafters in the living room. As we sat there enjoying the room and looked up, they just kind of jumped out. The cabin itself is beautiful as are the surroundings. The staff was responsive when i inquired about the dishwashing soap as there was none in the cabin. We would definitely like to come back again.
Beautiful cabin, enjoyed the peace and quiet. Cabin was well stocked and clean. Overall it was a wonderful trip.
Service was excellent! Cleanliness can use some improvements. Thanks Aunt Bugs.
The cabin was great far enough away from town but still close to ether place you wanted to spend the day
Cabin location was great. Cabin was very comfortable and relaxing.
We were very happy with our stay at Aunt Bugs
The cabin was very clean and nice. The only issue that kept the rating from excellent was that I had to call at the last minute to get the directions because it was not sent to me.
The cabin was clean and in good shape. It was a great getaway for our honeymoon.
Overall pretty good. A few details could have been addressed though. We did NOT receive dish soap or clothes detergent for one day that was promised on the agreement. Pool table did not have chalk. Also no salt and pepper provided (shakers were empty).
We’ve stayed in American Treehouse cabin 3-4 times over the years. We love the location of this cabin! The bed is in desperate need of a new mattress. We experienced some issues with the hot tub jets totally not working upon arrival. We contacted Aunt Bugs spoke with (Jay) and he got the jets issues with hot tub quickly resolved and replaced. The cabin needs some new furnishings such as new mattress, new sofa and chair, and a new hot tub. The (sofa and chair are extremely uncomfortable and just worn out and should be replaced. Overall appearance very cute cabin and location is awesome! Again, we had a very nice stay but cabin really needs some TLC! Hope to visit this cabin again with new furnishings!
Check in was super easy. We did run into a few snags thou. We called on Friday morning about the TV which never fixed. The individual said they would be back and never returned. Pots and pans need immediate attention. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets almost like whenbdishwasher was unlosded, the pots and pans were not checked to make sure clean from the stay before.
Cabin reservation was my first time, and I was not familiar with English, but staff Steven kindly informed me. Cabin was warm, Internet connection was good, and spa was warm and well prepared. I arrived at Cabin in the middle of the night, but the electric stove is broken. The next morning we talked about the problem, and the company fixed it right away. It was a place where you could have a lot of fun, no matter who came. Before I completed my reservation, I had some personal information transfer procedures, but I felt a little uncomfortable until I made a reservation because I checked my personal information late. If you send it in the afternoon the next day, the reply was not received until late afternoon. Next time, I'd like to check it out as soon as possible and give you feedback
Nice Cabin It needs a little work but it’s a good place to stay But o
We had a GREAT time place was well organized clean, directions to cabin were perfect. We will definitely be back and Rent a cabin off of Aunt Bugs and we have also told our family and friends. We were on vacation for two weeks with stops at Panama City and Nashville and this place was by far our best place to stay on our vacation.
Staff is great and very helpful. Welcome package was a great addition to start off our vacation. Cabins are beautiful and peaceful. Will rent again.
The cabin was clean and cool. We enjoyed the look and feel of the place. It felt private and ours. We all liked the hot tub and jaccuzi.
-How is the drive to this cabin?
The drive to this cabin is steep and windy in areas . No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.
-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?
This cabin is 5 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge .
-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?
We recommend bringing no more than 2 vehicles, of any size.
-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?
YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. In this cabin, we also provide 6 towels and 6 wash clothes, 2 hand towels and dishwasher detergent. We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).
-Is this cabin dog friendly?
NO… And we charge $500 when evidence of a dog/animal is found inside the unit.
-Can I use the fireplace year round?
No. Local fire codes restrict the use of fireplaces April through September and we take this very seriously.
-Will I encounter wildlife?
Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If you want to go outside and there is a bear outside, make loud noises they will leave. If you pull up to your cabin and there is a bear in the yard, blow the horn. They will leave.
And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for small animals to be heard around the house or bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature. Just call us, and we will send up wildlife management people or pest control to get rid of any small animals or bugs for you.
-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?
Absolutely. Every hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled between stays. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.
The Vacation Guarantee is 7% of your total reservation and enables you to receive a full refund, less the cost of the guarantee, up to 30 days prior to your arrival for a 1 to 4 bedroom cabin, and up to 60 days prior to arrival for 5 bedrooms and larger. Once inside those time periods, the Vacation Guarantee would allow you to reschedule your stay. Though the Vacation Guarantee is an optional charge, Aunt Bugs has a no refund/no reschedule policy without it.
*Rescheduled stays will have 6 months to come and must stay in the original cabin booked.
We loved our cabin!! It was very clean and cozy!!
