Overall, we had a great stay. One thing though, we found 3 straight pins and a couple of small hard plastic pieces or something on the floor. We had a toddler with us. We were afraid she might pick something up and put it in her mouth.

All was really nice and relaxing. What could be improved is having a hair dryer in at least one bathroom.

Very helpful. Cabin was clean. The only issues involved the faucet in the kitchen leaked and the shower doors in the loft bathroom did not have a guide so the doors were not stable when sliding.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the cabin! Beds were comfy, it was neat and clean, and there was plenty of space. The game room and hot tub were a hit with the kids. It was close to town. We hope to stay there again next summer too!

I enjoyed my stay at the hillbilly Hilton. It wasn’t long enough. I think the deposit is too high. In the checkout time is too early but other than that everything was great hoping to return next year.

First, the staff was great, explaining all the details, and showing patience and not getting flustered when we realized I forgot to tell them that I was going to be a late arrival. The cabin was great also. It was clean and in good shape. We had no issues at all. The overall experience with Aunt Bug's is exactly what I have come to expect after doing business with them multiple times in the past. Which is why I'll continue to work with them in the future as well!

We really liked the property and its access to the surrounding area. Please upgrade your cooking utensils. We like to cook and that was the only thing we found that was disappointing.

House was clean and had everything that was listed in the ads. Big place, lots of room with great views and country quiet. Also easy to get to shops and restaurants. Only issues we had was(1) the toilet in the loft bathroom would keep running unless you jiggled the handle just right. (2) Only one jet worked in the hot tub and (3) The grill was too small. However, would not hesitate to stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay. Close enough to the city to spend the day and far enough away to have the "on the mountain" feel. We also got to see a bear in its natural habitat.

Customer service was GREAT. Our only complaint would be the beds!!!!!! They are terrible!!!! They are SO HARD!!!!!!! But we loved the cabin, the location, the price, the customer service we received for our late check in, and the cleanliness. We really enjoyed our stay (just not our sleep).

Our cabin was very clean and in good repair. Two complaints we had was ice maker never worked and TV's very outdated. I do know often times you are at the mercy of the owners on such but for luxury rentals a disclaimer per cabin is a suggestion for items not working or outdated. However, it would not prevent us from renting from Aunt Bug's again as all agencies face the same challenge.

The cabinet was great. It was a wandrful stay. The only thing that i didi't like , we weren't allowed to do an early check in. In the other hand we rented another cabinet in the same trip and they allowed us to check in at 10 am ( Jackson mountain cabinet).

The only thing I would suggest is that cleaning service should pay more attention to dusting. There was so much dust throughout . But i cleaned most of it myself.

The cabin was clean and spacious. The secrecy about the exact location of the cabin was extremely annoying and inconvenient. I spent a lot of money for a cabin "somewhere in Gatlinburg." We had four families coming from four different places trying to coordinate arrival times. The excuse that an address / map isn't available until the last moment for "security reasons" is unreasonable.

We always use Aunt Bugs the cabins are all top notch.

-How is the drive to this cabin?
The drive to this cabin is steep and windy in some places. No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.
-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?
This cabin is 3.3 miles from the parkway of Gatlinburg.
-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?
We recommend bringing no more than 5 vehicles, of any size.
-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?
YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. In this cabin, we also provide 24 towels and 20 wash clothes, 6 hand towels and dishwasher detergent. We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).
-Is this cabin dog friendly?
NO… And we charge $500 when evidence of a dog/animal is found inside the unit.
-Can I use the fireplace year round?
No. Local fire codes restrict the use of fireplaces April through September and we take this very seriously.
-Will I encounter wildlife?
Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If you want to go outside and there is a bear outside, make loud noises they will leave. If you pull up to your cabin and there is a bear in the yard, blow the horn. They will leave.
And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for small animals to be heard around the house or bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature. Just call us, and we will send up wildlife management people or pest control to get rid of any small animals or bugs for you.

-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?
Absolutely. Every hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled between stays. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.

Once inside those time periods, the Vacation Guarantee would allow you to reschedule your stay. Though the Vacation Guarantee is an optional charge, Aunt Bugs has a no refund/no reschedule policy without it.
