What people are saying about this property
We had a great time the cabin was beautiful, the cabin was a little dusty but was overall a great place to stay we had a bkast
Loved the speedy no contact Check in and check out. Lots of towels and everything we needed.
Everything was great! The express check in made checking in and out a breeze. cabin was clean. we really enjoyed our stay!
Cabin was clean and prepared. Some minor things like fireplace not working at the time of our stay and slow internet. Aside from that the upstairs game room was fun and I played pool with the family. Overall cozy feeling and great location to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
What a wonderful place to stay! Very cozy with a beautiful cabin in the mountains experience!
My family enjoyed the cabin ecperience very much. They loved the hot tub and game room. The grandsons referred to it as the "brown house." Everytime we went somewhere, they would ask if we could go back to the "brown house."
Absolutely amazing! Its was very nice and clean and very beautiful!
We had a great experience. Everything was exactly as it said it would be. We will definitely be coming back.
Great, very relaxing .
We ha a blast at the Beary Tale cabin. It had everything we needed
So 1 of my deciding factors when booking A cabin in the mountains is.. does it have a hot tub? So that's one of the main reasons we booked this cabin.. we were very disappointed when we got there and realized that we couldnt use it. It would not get warm at all. Other than the cold hot tub. We had a great time. The pool table and multicade were a pretty good time.
Gatlinburg is one of our favorite places to visit. We go once a year. This was one of the best located cabins we have stayed in. Very convenient to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It could use a detailed cleaning, but was much cleaner than some we have stayed in. We are a little OCD when it comes to cleaning, so most would not notice any issues at all. We had a couple minor issues that were addressed and resolved immediately.
nice location. clean. good floor plan. quiet. nice scenery. helpful people at the office.
had a great time in a great cabin
Have stayed withAunt Bugs before, always friendly and helpful, this was no exception. Very nice cabin, pretty secluded, but we like that. Road to parking is pretty steep, but it is the mountains. I like that we were situated right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Loved sitting on the front porch in the cool mountain mornings.
Beary Tale is a super nice cabin. Aunt Bugs is a great place to rent from, very friendly and helpful.
There are cobwebs everywhere, the ceiling fan have in the living room (main feature in that room)has about 2 inches of dust, all the bedside tables and furniture have a thick layer of dust. The candles by the jetted tub have no batteries in them, the curtains are very dusty, windows are dirty so u get to see a blurry view. And the living room tv changes the bedroom channels made my mother dizzy. Im hoping since I stripped the beds and gathered the dirty towels and blanket they had time to dust for the next guest. I clean houses for a living and also a vrbro listing. This house has not been dusted in a long time. Cobwebs are between the railing in the steps, behind the doors, on ceiling fans ,etc.
Cabin was great! Hot tub was not able to be used as it was cold and dirty. That was our only complaint.
We absolutely loved our stay. Everything was clean a neat when we arrived. The only thing that I could see was the grass needed cutting. But other then that it was amazing.we will be back.
I would highly recommend these people they are very professional and top notch . Everything was just as described no hidden fees. Cabin was very clean everything worked no problems at all. We will be returning next year and our stay will be with Aunt Bugs cabin rentals. Thanks again Aunt Bugs.
Sincerely, Kenneth Ward.
Excellent! We will return next year and we will bs staying with aunt bugs. These people are very professional and top notch . Cabin was great . Thanks,Aunt Bugs. .. sencerly, Kenneth Ward.
We had a great time at A Beary Tale. In a gated community, very clean, not too far from town. Kids loved the old arcade game. Had one issue and they sent someone right out. Issue was resolved. While talking to the employees they were very pleasant and thanked me numerous times for staying with them as a repeat customer. We love the Express check in and check out.
We had a TV not working at checkin and the next morning they came and put new TV in. Very friendly service, everyone I spoke to thanked me for repeat business. We had a great time in a beary tale.
We loved the cabin, location, and our entire stay in Tennessee! The only exception is that our coffee pot had old grinds in it and there was mold that the housekeeper did not empty. There were also flies in the cabin that we had to get rid of but it was just beautiful and as a result we did not want to go back home!
Check-in was a breeze and the stay was fantastic. We were able to checkout through the app which made it easier for us. Can't wait to stay with you guys again.
It was semi private. Very close to another cabin though. But it was just the right size! Great experience.
We really enjoyed everything about our stay at the cabin. The only thing that worried me a little was the steep roads and parking on the drive way lol... other than that I loved it all!
The cabin was very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was great. Had an issue with the in-room Jacuzzi jets not working. We called the office first thing in the morning and they responded quickly and resolved the issue. WiFi on the laptop was not good, but the WiFi on our phones was okay. The road to get to the cabin was okay - we've driven a lot worse. The driveway though was challenging at first getting into, but once you get used to it, it's okay. There isn't much of a view other than a close up view of trees. It would be nice if recycling was available.
Simple check-in and check out. Enjoyed the cabin and stay.
All was good. We replaced the batteries in tv remotes.
Super easy express check in and check out! Cabin was ready early. We used the mobile app which made it easier as well.
Bearytale was everything we wanted in a cabin. The decorations were great. The pool table gave our family something to do after dinner and it got the kids off their phones for some family fun. The hot tub was perfect too. Wish there were some stepping stones to the grill. We had a great time and if we make it back to TN we will stay there again!
From check in to check out everything was wonderful! Clean cabin relaxing time!
The cabin was nice and clean and was very generous that y’all let us in early
Loved the cabin it was amazing. We really enjoyed the mobile check in & check out. It helped us leave early before yall opened. We will use Aunt Bug's again.
We had a great time! We would definitely come back again.
Everything was immaculate. Beautiful location. Hassle free check in. Everything was set up perfectly when we arrived. Even left us a late check in packet for our convenience.
It was comfty, clean and felt like a home away from home. Kids loved to pool table and arcade game. We loved the hot tub. We was already talking about renting the same cabin again. May come back up next year. I WOULD definitely recommend Aunt Bugs Cabin Rentals.
Very nice cabins , only problem was light above shower was out in master bedroom
Exactly as expected. Perfect, enjoyed game room and hot tub
Directions were great and everything was as expected. Great little cabin in the woods!
Didn’t provide clothes hangers. 2 loveseats were Not enough seating at all as described. Kitchen lights too harsh and bright.
We have been to the mountains twice within three months and stayed with aunt bugs both visits and was very pleased and will continue to book with aunt bugs.
Everything was very nice. Very close to all the places we were visiting on this trip.
We loved it. Private but convenient to everything. Very clean
My stay was excellent the cabin was spacious and clean. The hot tub in the deck was great.
Liked the tshirts. Confused by the maid service note in the cabin. Loved the free zip line, very nice.
-How is the drive to this cabin?
The drive to this cabin is uphill a little but not too steep and winding in areas. No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.
-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?
This cabin is about 4.5 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge and 4.5 miles from the parkway of Gatlinburg.
-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?
We recommend bringing no more than 3 vehicles.
-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?
YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. In this cabin, we also provide 12 towels and 8 wash clothes, 2 hand towels and dishwasher detergent.. We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).
-Is this cabin dog friendly?
NO… And we charge $500 when evidence of a dog/animal is found inside the unit.
-Can I use the fireplace year round?
No. Local fire codes restrict the use of fireplaces April through September and we take this very seriously.
-Will I encounter wildlife?
Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If you want to go outside and there is a bear outside, make loud noises they will leave. If you pull up to your cabin and there is a bear in the yard, blow the horn. They will leave.
And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for small animals to be heard around the house or bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature. Just call us, and we will send up wildlife management people or pest control to get rid of any small animals or bugs for you.
-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?
Absolutely. Every hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled between stays. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.
The Vacation Guarantee is 7% of your total reservation and enables you to receive a full refund, less the cost of the guarantee, up to 30 days prior to your arrival for a 1 to 4 bedroom cabin, and up to 60 days prior to arrival for 5 bedrooms and larger. Once inside those time periods, the Vacation Guarantee would allow you to reschedule your stay. Though the Vacation Guarantee is an optional charge, Aunt Bugs has a no refund/no reschedule policy without it.
*Rescheduled stays will have 6 months to come and must stay in the original cabin booked.
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very convenient to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and the check in and out process was easy. There are a few things at the cabin that could use some attention.
