What people are saying about this property
Everything was great and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Everyone loved the cabin. It was clean and good size so very happy thank you 😎👍
Very nice and clean cabin we had a wonderful family reunion with plenty of room
We loved our stay!!! We had plenty of clean towels and it was so clean when we arrived. Already planning our next trip
some difficulty checking in. Cabin was very spacious. had a great time. pool was not warm.
Everything was great - space and amenities were really nice. A few problems but nothing major. Checkin was late due to cleaning?? There were a few damages to the cabin which I did report so that we would not be held responsible such as rips in the dining room chairs, mold in the washing machine. There was trash thrown across back yard and one of the trash bins were full. The amenities were all working which was great but the car driving game was definitely in need of work. It was a great way to spend a family time together safely and peacefully. We love the Smoky Mountains and will be returning in the future.
Cabin #522-A New Beginning was by far the best, cleanest, beautiful cabin we had the pleasure to stay in. The kitchen accessories for cooking was wonderful. I brought my own pots and pans, along with a griddle to discover it was not necessary because this cabin had everything in perfect condition. The pool was warm and clean. The jacuzzi was perfect. Our entire family, including six grandchildren had a blast! I will definitely request this cabin again! Thanks for sharing this beautiful cabin with us!
Experience was wonderful for our family! Home was lovely very clean.
Everything was as advertised, very clean cabin, large rooms, easy contact free check in. We will be back!
My entire family was thrilled overall with the cabin. There were some minor issues that Maintenance addressed as soon as we contacted them. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars is the fact that we had to contact Maintenance in the first place. Things like non-working TVs, toilet handle not working, bee infestation in a bedroom, and a clogged shower drain - all could be avoided if a more thorough inspection occurred after each rental. An unexpected highlight was that kitchen in the cabin was very well stocked with the essentials needed for cooking, which we were pleasantly surprised.
Communication about check in was not as good as I expected. The cabin pool was very cold the entire time. But otherwise we had a great time
The house was just as pictured, which is what I wanted. I didn't like the fact I had no idea where we were going until the cabin was cleaned. You can go to a hotel and wait on your room if it is not finished. We had driven 6 hours and didn't know which direction to go when we were at Gatlinburg exit. It would have saved the winding road. But the cabin was great.
The house was very spacious. Inside was everything we had hoped it would be looks and setup wise! The pool and hot tub were perfect, even after we were worried by prior reviews in last 6 months. The mattress in upstairs bedroom was horrible and needs replaced, felt the springs every night. The fire pit was nice. Our biggest complaint was the view, there isnt one, Woods back up to the backyard there’s no view. Also, the neighbors are right on either side, there’s no privacy to the backyard or the hot tub on the porch. I didn’t get my check in email on time because they failed to notifying me of the check in steps, make sure you are notified how to check in or you will be mad when you don’t get your codes. Overall, it was a nice cabin and we had a good stay.
We had 14 people staying in the cabin and everyone had a wonderful time. I was able to cook all of our meals in the kitchen. And all of the kids had a ball playing pool, swimming and playing the arcade games. We loved the theater room. And no one felt crowded because of all the space!!
The cabin was nice and clean spacious we were very impreased we had enough towels and were able to wash them as we went. The pool temp was our only disappointment.Overall we had the best time and loved our cabin.
We had an awesome time and had everything we needed the only thing was pool temperature some couldn't swim or stay in too long it was just too cold.
Spacious cabin, clean, couldn't of been any better
The house was really very nice. Had lots of amenities that we enjoyed. The hot tub however was not filled and therefore unable to be used. This cabin, however, really isnt that close to Gatlinburg. If you are looking for a cabin to just get away this is a nice cabin for that. However, if your looking for a cabin close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, this one is a bit of a drive.
Cabin was very nice. I spoke with someone the first night we arrived and let them know that the hot tub had no water in it. Said someone would come the next day, however no one ever came so we were unable to use the hot tub for our stay.
The property was extremely nice and comfortable. Lots of space and amenities.
The gentleman that we booked with was excellent!Very kind man
Everything was nice. We had a small issue with the projector in the movie room but maintenance came over and fixed it real quick.
Everything was nice but had some problems. Had a little drainage problem, kept having to use water hose to fill up and none of bathrooms water in tub was draining. We have stayed with Aunt Bugs several other times with no problems. Maintenance person; James(Jamie) was awesome!! We stay again!
Was the best. Very clean and enjoyed everything.
Best cabin experience ever. This was our first trip staying in a cabin, and Aunt Bugs Rental did the best to keep it very entertaining.
Great experience for my family and I. The cabin is awesome the pictures does not do it justice.
The cabin was fabulous. All my guest which was some of my family members they also loved the cabin. I never felt so relaxed in this cabin. I will most definitely book with you all again next year.
The cabin was wonderful and it was nice and cozy. I felt so relaxed while enjoying family. I really loved the stay.
We thought everything was great. No better stay for our family. All seemed to enjoy it and with hopes and prayers of coming back
It was really nice. I wish the checkout was 11 or 12. 10am is pretty early
This cabin was great! The cabin was very clean , really enjoyed having the indoor pool and the movie theater room. I would definitely recommend this cabin and we will definitely be coming back in the future!
-How is the drive to this cabin?
The drive to this cabin is steep and winding in areas. No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.
-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?
This cabin is 19 miles from the parkway of Gatlinburg .
-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?
We recommend bringing no more than 5 vehicles, of any size.
-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?
YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. In this cabin, we also provide 22 towels and 14 wash clothes, 5 hand towels and dishwasher detergent. We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).
-Is this cabin dog friendly?
Yes, but we limit to two dogs under 40lbs. and there is a $75.00 pet fee per pet per stay.
-Can I use the fireplace year round?
No. Local fire codes restrict the use of fireplaces April through September and we take this very seriously.
-Will I encounter wildlife?
Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If you want to go outside and there is a bear outside, make loud noises they will leave. If you pull up to your cabin and there is a bear in the yard, blow the horn. They will leave.
And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for small animals to be heard around the house or bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature. Just call us, and we will send up wildlife management people or pest control to get rid of any small animals or bugs for you.
-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?
Absolutely. Every hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled between stays. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.
The Vacation Guarantee is 7% of your total reservation and enables you to receive a full refund, less the cost of the guarantee, up to 30 days prior to your arrival for a 1 to 4 bedroom cabin, and up to 60 days prior to arrival for 5 bedrooms and larger. Once inside those time periods, the Vacation Guarantee would allow you to reschedule your stay. Though the Vacation Guarantee is an optional charge, Aunt Bugs has a no refund/no reschedule policy without it.
*Rescheduled stays will have 6 months to come and must stay in the original cabin booked.
Cabin was great. Loved it all. If I could make one suggestion. Cleaning crew could pay a little more detail to the fixtures, fans and decor. VERY dusty.
