It’s pretty well known that Dolly is a Smoky Mountain idol to many visitors. This year, the Smokies are celebrating the 29th annual Dolly Homecoming Parade!

If you’re planning to attend the parade, we recommend arriving a little early to scout out a good spot to sit. We are expecting the weather to be sunny, so it’s best to wear springtime clothes and tennis shoes.

Many guests make reservations at one of the local restaurants before the parade time, but if you want to wait until the parade ends around 8 p.m., we suggest packing a small cooler with snacks and drinks.
