The addition of The Island in Pigeon Forge in 2013 has created an ideal location for new restaurants to cater to visitors and locals alike. Located right off of the main parkway in Pigeon Forge it is convenient to many of the area attractions. The casual atmosphere is great for families to enjoy lunch and dinner; it is also an ideal location for after dinner drinks. Restaurants that have opened at The Island include: Dick’s Last Resort, Margaritaville, Poynor’s Pommes Frites and Timberwood Grill, while Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen is set to open late Summer 2014. Hard Rock Café is also new to Pigeon Forge after relocating from their Gatlinburg location in May 2014.
Dick’s Last Resort
Dick’s Last Resort in Pigeon Forge provides a unique dining experience where you’re guaranteed to have a good time. The staff is playfully rude to guests and makes sure you have an unforgettable dining experience. Menu items include: steak, shrimp, catfish, chicken and more. Dick’s Last Resort is open for lunch, dinner and late night dining and drinks.
Margaritaville
Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville restaurant has a laid back atmosphere with unique dining spaces, a concert stage, and multiple bars. Guests can enjoy dinner and drinks overlooking the Little Pigeon River on the large exterior deck. An oversized fire pit is located at the 5 O’Clock Somewhere bar outside as well. Menu items include: Landshark Lager Fish and Chips, Seafood Mac & Cheese, Crispy Coconut Shrimp and Surf & Turf. Magaritaville, Pigeon Forge is open daily from 11:00am-2:00am.
Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen
Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen is set to open in Pigeon Forge in late Summer 2014. The restaurant will be 20,000 square feet with a budget of $20 million and will feature Paula Deen’s signature Southern style home cooking.
Poynor’s Pommes Frites
Stop for a snack or meal at this German-style restaurant! Poynor’s Pommes Frites serves Pommes Frites/Belgium fries and homemade dipping sauces as well as German brats, fresh baked brochen and spaghetti ice.
Timberwood Grill
Timberwood Grill serves “a genuine taste of the mountains” with unique Smoky Mountain food and drink creations. Some of their menu items include: Rockytop Pork Nachos, Copper River Salmon and Avocado Salad, Peyco Pete’s Grilled Meatloaf
